RULES
     As a public gathering place, rules must exist to make sure that everyone enjoys the dog park.

        1.   Dog owners are solely liable for injuries or damage caused by their dogs.
        2.   Dogs must be leashed when entering or leaving the park.
        3.   Dogs must be off-leash while inside the park.
        4.   Dog owners must have a leash in their possession at all times.
        5.   Dog owners must be in the park and within view and voice contact of their dogs
              at all times. Unattended dogs will be removed by Animal Control.
        6.   Dog waste must be cleaned up by dog owners.
        7.   Aggressive dogs are prohibited from this park and dogs exhibiting aggressive
              behavior must be removed from the park immediately, without debate.
        8.   No female dogs in heat permitted in the park.
        9.   No choker chain or prong collars permitted on dogs inside the park.
        10.   No dogs under four (4) months of age permitted in the park.
        11. No more than three beings* per handler allowed (*dogs and/or small children).
        12. No food, treats, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, strollers, bicycles or
              children's toys allowed in the park.
        13. No children under 12 without close adult supervision.
        14. No animals other than dogs are permitted in the park.
        15. All dogs must be legally licensed, vaccinated and wear tags.
        16. Dog owners must immediately fill any holes dug by their dog.
        17. Park gates must be closed and latched at all times.

USERS OF THIS PARK DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK!

The City of Jacksonville Beach shall not be liable for any injury or damage
caused by any dog in this park.


     Jacksonville Beach Pet Registration/Licensing:
     "Legally Licensed" means that the dog should be licensed with the City in which the dog resides.
      In the case of Jacksonville Beach, all dogs residing in Jacksonville Beach are required to be
     licensed as stated in the Jacksonville Beach Ordinances:


     No person shall be allowed to keep any dog or cat in the city of Jacksonville Beach unless
     the person shall first register such animal with the city and purchase from the city an
     identification tag for each animal for the sum of two dollars ($2.00) per annum. Licenses
     shall be due and payable the first day of January of each year at Jacksonville Beach City Hall,
     11 N. 3rd St., Jacksonville Beach.

     Proof of vaccination is required showing that the dog or cat have been inoculated against
     rabies within one year immediately prior to any application for registration. The certificate of a
     veterinarian, licensed to practice veterinary medicine and surgery by the Board of Veterinary
     Examiners of the State of Florida, shall be accepted as conclusive evidence to the fact and
     time of such inoculation.
