4th ANNUAL HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST & FUNDRAISER

To Benefit Paws Park at Wingate Park

Spooks and goblins will be haunting Paws Park at Wingate Park, but these won't be your standard Halloween spooks with the usual tricks or treats.  These trick-or-treaters will be four-legged with wagging tails and wet kisses and they will be participating in the 4th Annual Howling Halloween Costume Contest & Fundraiser to benefit Paws Park.  Friends of Paws Park volunteers will be hosting the event to raise money to help pay for maintenance and improvements to Paws Park. 

This year's Top Dog Sponsor for the event is Dr. Gary Neuman and the Animal Medical Clinic at Sawgrass Village.  Other event sponsors include:  A Dog's Domain, Camp Bow Wow, Christina Kreations, Holmes Stamp & Sign, Pampered Paws by the Sea, Pawsitive Solutions Dog Training, and the Secunda Pet Family.

HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST

The highlight of the event will be a costume contest for dogs and their people.  Prizes will be awarded for the following:

- Most original dog costume

- Best dog & owner costume

- Funniest dog costume

- Scariest dog costume

- Best group (The group must include dogs)

The entry fee for participation in the contest will be a $5 donation to the dog park for each entry.  The first 100 entries will receive a special gift for participating.  Registration for the contest begins at 3pm and the costume contest will be held at 4:30pm.

Cross the Intracoastal Waterway

Turn right at the second traffic light onto 15th St. S.

Turn left at the 4-way stop onto Shetter Ave.

Turn right at the 3-way stop onto Penman Rd. S.

Turn right at Dog Park sign.

For additional parking, park in the parking spaces on the left side of Penman Rd. S.

From A1A:

Go west onto Beach Blvd.

Turn left at the second traffic light onto 12th St. S.

Turn right onto Shetter Ave.
